Description
Other PLA 3D filaments are a good starter material. Although regarded as easy to use, they’re commonly seen as weak, brittle and inconsistent. We felt we could do better, much better. Our PLA uses a special pure grade resin that prints at lower temperatures (from 180°C). Sure, this saves electricity (yawn) but more importantly, it allows for a surprisingly strong and durable print with excellent layer-to-layer adhesion.
Our all-natural biopolymer is free from contaminants and is also long term biodegradable. So while it may not be suitable for prolonged outdoor use, rest assured that wrong-sized customer prototype won’t stay in landfill for years to come.
Whether you’re using a printer without a heated bed, getting creative with 3D pens or getting the kids involved in “the future” – our high strength PLA is easy to use, 100% reliable and actually suitable for most end use parts.
Our PLA comes in our largest range of colours, over 25 pigment rich varieties. The colour you see on this screen is the colour you’ll receive and the final colour of your print. Our colours don’t weaken after the heat of printing.
